Aromain ; it is a powerful Aromatase Inhibitor (AI), and the only AI that is actually known as a steroidal AI due to its structural similarity to androstenedione. Officially known as Exemestane, Aromasin like Arimidex was designed to fight breast cancer as it binds to the aromatase enzyme in an irreversible fashion; aromatase referring to the conversion of testosterone into estrogen and estrogen being the common enemy to breast cancer patients; estrogen is also a common enemy to performance enhancing athletes. Tremendously beneficial to performance enhancing athletes in-regards to side-effect protection; Aromasin will actively protect from the estrogenic related side-effects commonly caused by aromatizing steroids. With this in mind, lets take a look at Aromasin, and then you can decide is supplementation is right for you.

On-Cycle Protection:

For the performance enhancing athlete, the best time to use Aromasin will always be on-cycle when aromatizing anabolic steroids are in play; Testosterone being primary, but far from the only one. As the aromatase enzyme will lead to an increase in estrogen in the body, as this occurs many of the more common anabolic steroid related side-effects can occur; especially Gynecomastia and excess water retention. High levels of estrogen can also have a negative impact on blood pressure and cholesterol, and this simply wont do. By its natural mode of action, Aromasin actively inhibits the aromatase process thereby prohibiting a buildup in estrogen; what doesnt exist cant cause a problem. Further, this AI like all AIs will actively reduce the amount of estrogen in your body providing you yet even more protection; common steroids that can benefit from Aromasin use include Testosterone (all forms), Nandrolone (all forms), Methandrostenolone (Dianabol), Oxymetholone (Anadrol, although it doesnt aromatize it causes estrogenic effects) and even Trenbolone (all forms) due to its progestin nature.

Testosterone Promotion:

Like its fellow AIs Arimidex and Letrozole, Aromasin will actively promote natural testosterone production; however, unlike Arimidex and Letrozole, Aromasin promotes testosterone production largely on the basis of its androgenic nature. Further, unlike Arimidex and Letrozole, the two most common AIs, Aromasin will actually increase your bodys production of IGF-1 and is the only AI on the market that carries this trait. Based on these factors, it is the only AI we can actually consider recommending for Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) purposes; however, SERMs are largely more efficient due to their non-suppressive nature around estrogen. If this doesnt interest you do to their inability to promote IGF-1 production, well, then supplement with IGF-1 and the problems solved; this isnt brain surgery.
