Mass & More Mass

If youre in your off-season phase and looking to add a pile of muscle, theres a good chance Oxymetholone should be considered; after all, if youre following an off-season nutritional plan this steroid is guaranteed to work. In most cases, a four to six week kick start is how most will supplement, and through such action you can expect to see some rapid results. Its not uncommon for the individual to gain as much as 20lbs during this kick start, and once that period is over the slower injectable steroids will have built up in your system, and youll keep cruising right along. It must be noted; if you are not eating enough you will not gain this kind of weight; Oxymetholone is not magical, and it will not negate the rules of nutrition in-regards to growth. Even so, it will help you make better use of your nutrition; in-fact, youll be able to gain more lean tissue with less fat accumulation and that is what we call successful supplementation. In any case, some of the weight gain may be water; although Oxymetholone does not aromatize it can cause estrogenic traits such as water retention and Gynecomastia and caution should be applied. Youll find supplementing with Aromatase Inhibitors to be helpful if needed, and of course, controlling your diet, especially carbohydrate consumption in-order to keep the water weight down to be very beneficial.

Contest Use

Without question, the vast majority of those who supplement with the Oxymetholone hormone will do so for off-season gains; however, the positive effect this steroid can have in a cutting cycle for a competitor can be tremendous. The plan is rather straightforward; two to four weeks before a bodybuilding competition, the competitor will begin Oxymetholone supplementation right up to the day of the show. This will enable him to maximize his carb loading plan, and ensure hes as full as he can be once on stage. While this practice can work very well, it does come with a warning; if you have never supplemented with Oxymetholone before you should not make your first try right before a show. If youve never supplemented with it before, you have no way of knowing how your body is going to react to this hormone, and that could spell disaster. First and foremost, you must have a firm grasp on water protocol for contest periods; you must understand how to pull this off without Oxymetholone. Further, you must understand how Oxymetholone affects you in-regards to water, and you must know how to combat and control it. If you have all of this under control, then this period of supplementation may be worthy of your consideration; if not, save it for a later date or you may risk destroying your contest prep.

Total Supplementation

Regardless of your purpose of use, Oxymetholone should never be used for more than six weeks at a time; many will find four weeks to be more than enough. The reason for this short lived duration of use is due to the C17-aa nature of this steroid; like most oral steroids, Oxymetholone belongs to C17-aa family and is thereby toxic to the liver; however, in this case, we have one of the most hepatotoxic steroids of all. Those who already have liver problems or issues should not supplement, but if our liver is healthy, we avoid alcohol and over the counter medications we can supplement safely if we do so responsibly; this only applies to healthy adult men.

In any case, for off-season use, most will find 50mg per day for four to six weeks to be a solid plan; doses commonly go as high as 100mg, but this will increase the risk and you must be aware. Past the 100mg mark is relatively useless; Oxymetholone is one of the few anabolic steroids that has a sharp fall-off point; for example, 150mg is not going to do much more than 100mg, but 150mg will produce more side-effects. At any rate, for contest use, most will find 25mg per day for two to three weeks to be perfect; 50mg can often be tolerated, but the total dosing will simply need to be based on your individual need.
